Beginners courses

Once you've 'come 'n tried' archery and want to learn a bit more, the next step is to enroll in our five week Beginners Course. 

These courses are run approx. every two months at our outdoor range in Gillies Street North, Lake Gardens. 

They run over a five week period

We cater for everyone from individuals to families as well as people with disabilities. 

These courses serve as a basic introduction to archery, safety procedures and course content is overseen by Archery Australia, with coaching by local qualified archery coaches. 

For safety reasons, wearing closed toe footwear is required and long hair must be tied back.

Instruction includes use of longbow, recurve and compound bows. 

Our coaches are all accredited with current WWCC checks  NON MEMBERS only.

1. Speak to one of our club instructors on a Saturday morning between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm at our target range at Prince of Wales Park, or
