Good Sports is working with 20% of clubs around Australia, that’s more than 6500 clubs and 1.8 million passionate people.
Good Sports is an award winning program and has grown into the biggest health initiative in Australian sport, with a network that covers every level of sport – from grassroots to elite. We’re working to tackle key health issues of alcohol, smoking, obesity and mental health.
Local sports clubs are the beating heart of the community and Good Sports is dedicated to making them stronger. We’re working with communities to create stronger, healthier and more family-friendly sporting clubs – helping them to gain new members and attract sponsors.
The Australian Drug Foundation’s Good Sports program is a progressive, three level accreditation program that helps clubs set standards around the key health issues of alcohol, smoking, obesity and mental health. To do this, we provide club volunteers with the resources, training and guidance they need to face these challenges head on.
